Michelle DuBois


Michelle is the President of Values Partnerships, the largest Black-owned social impact firm in the United States.Values leads multicultural marketing, insights and social impact strategy for Fortune 1000 brands, film studios and television networks, including Paramount Pictures, OWN, A+E Networks, Pinterest, Sephora, P&G and more.

At Values, Michelle’s work has included leading the turnaround in Sephora’s positioning and progress with Black women customers, winning an NAACP Image Award as Executive Producer of the HISTORY Channel documentary on President Barack Obama, developing the idea for and helping to launch the HBO Max documentary "Black Beauty is Beauty” celebrating Black fashion and beauty trends in collaboration with Kelly Rowland and others, and helping Goldman Sachs develop and launch their One Million Black Women campaign, a 10-year, $10 billion investment initiative. Values has also led marketing campaigns for over 100 television shows and movies, including THE COLOR PURPLE, FENCES, SELMA, RESPECT, NOTES FROM THE FIELD, SURVIVING R. KELLY, TULSA BURNING, IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK, and many more.

Beyond her work in corporate settings and entertainment, Michelle is a fierce advocate for Black mothers and families, and balanced living in a fast-paced world. Her work on Black maternal health has been featured on Oprah’s “OWN Your Health” initiative, and she raises funds and advocates for organizations including the March of Dimes, the Momference, and the Black Mamas Matter Alliance.

Michelle is also the founder of Balanced Black Parenting, a new platform dedicated to fostering conversations around parenting in Black families.

Before joining Values Partnerships, Michelle served as a Policy Advisor in the Obama Administration and Deputy Director of the National Export Initiative at the U.S. Department of Commerce. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctor from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Michelle resides with her husband Joshua and three children in the Washington, D.C. area.
